I commit to this life long journey of annihilating caste+undoing the harmful violent oppressive legacies of brahmanism/ casteism. Committing to unlearning the ways of brahminical patriarchy that has seeped into everything. To return to the teachings truths of those fighting Hindu fascism, to communities oppressed by Brahmanism, who have been demanding for their dignity, autonomy, justice and healing. To prioritize, protect, center and honor Dalit, Bahujan, Muslim communities, scholarship, art, leadership, and calls for justice. I honor all the people who challenge North Indian hindu Savarna upper caste upper class hegemony. May we bring forth the worlds envisioned by Dalit bahujan and Muslim people. May those of us who benefit from caste privilege deeply reprogram and unlearn the harmful casteist belief systems that have been passed down. May Savarnas do the financing and rebuilding of Dalit, Bahujan, Adivasi and Muslim structures, resrouces, land, businesses, houses, places of worship, lives they have destroyed. May we take deep responsibility for the harm our ancestors have caused / complicit in. May we rewrite history to not perpetuate the cycles of hatred and violence from caste apartheid, Islamophobia, anti-Blackness and white supremacy!!!

I give thanks to all my teachers+community who have shaped my perceptions, selves, heart, and spirit:

Preyanka, Shaileja, Patrisse Cullors, Carla Gonzalez, Mark Anthony, Ale Lemus, Lisette, all the kin I organized with, Shirley Martin, Thenmozhi Soundararajan, Sharmin Hossain, just to name a few~
I continue to learn so much from those around me everyday!
